I’m currently sat in Starbucks at Paddington Station, waiting for the train back to Cardiff. I’ve had a great time today at Gentoo UK 2006 meeting old friends again and hopefully making some new ones too. Daniel did a great job organising it; it’s nice to see my baby was in safe hands this year
As always with these conferences, the wireless didn’t work too good, but at least that gave me time to make good progress on the docs for o.g.o.
In the pub afterwards, a few of us talked about where we’d want to hold an international dev conference - and when. Apparently, we actually have more EU-based developers than we do US-based ones atm, so it might work out cheaper to round folks up and ship ‘em over to this side of the pond. We’ll have to see.
Early September 2007 is looking like our target date for a conference.
