Building An amd64 Desktop

For the moment at least, I’m taking Ubuntu off my amd64 box and putting Gentoo on there. I need a Gentoo amd64 desktop to test the new FreeNX ebuild on, so that I can commit it to the tree. Once that’s done, I’ll convert the box into an amd64 Xen test box for working on Seeds.
Jon - give me a few days to get this desktop built, and then I’ll be able to fix the issues you’ve reported.

Sigh… when I saw your previous post on possible amd64 breakage, I thought I could help (nx-x11-bin had given me enough trouble), but I’m drowning in work for at least another week and can’t afford to break my NX setup :/
Good luck with your install!

Thanks. It’ll take a few days to get Gnome & KDE compiled on the box, and then I’ll be able to get FreeNX working on amd64 for everyone.

It would appear that the problem is that the Gentoo Ebuild does not include any node.lic file.

Err, wrong post.
That’s the subscription issue.
