Tomorrow is the start of the long Easter weekend. Here in the UK, that means two days public holiday … two extra days off work to relax, recharge, and spend time with the family. I’m not a believer myself, but the Easter holidays are today associated with the Christian Faith’s belief that Jesus Christ rose from the dead. And that reminded me of this photograph I took back in 2004 of a stained glass window (commonly associated with churches, although this one is actually in a castle) which included many marvellous pictures such as this church. (You can see a full-length shot of the Millennium Window on my Flickr account). So that’s why this is my desktop wallpaper for today.
Enjoy the holidays, and I’ll be back on Tuesday with my next choice of desktop wallpaper.
If you’re reading this in the RSS feed, my original blog post also includes a Google map showing where this photo was taken. Unfortunately I haven’t managed to get the map to appear yet in the RSS feed, so for now you’ll have to click through to my blog if you want to see the map. Sorry.
