Sunlit Leaves

I hope you had a good bank holiday weekend. Thankfully, no-one told the weather gods that it was a bank holiday, and instead of the traditional fare of miserable skies and rain, we had sunny skies to enjoy.

With summer almost upon us, green is the predominant colour right now, and that’s my theme for this week’s desktop wallpaper: the colour green. I’m starting off with this simple shot of sunlit leaves, taken at Symmonds Yat Rock in Gloucestershire. This is a lovely area for gentle walking; even someone with a crocked knee like mine can get about, and there’s always ice-cream to hand at the log cabin.
