This week, I’m afraid that I’m going to be indulging myself in a bit of nostalgia, because, after three and a half years helping to run Gradwell, I’m leaving Bath for pastures new. This week’s wallpapers are some of my fondest memories of Bath. You can also find more photos of Bath here and here.
When things get to me, or I just need space to think, I like to get out for a bit of a walk (well, a hobble since the car crash), and one of my favourite places would be the Avon tow path down by the former Green Park railway station. Today, the station is a mixture of a supermarket, the supermarket’s car park, and lots of little shops and offices, but look up at its roof, and it isn’t hard to imagine what it must have been like back in the age of steam.
If you’re reading this in the RSS feed, my original blog post also includes a Google map showing where this photo was taken. Unfortunately I haven’t managed to get the map to appear yet in the RSS feed, so for now you’ll have to click through to my blog if you want to see the map. Sorry.
