Wooden Slats

This week’s theme is the Thames Path between the picturesque village of Sonning and the growing town of Reading, which has become my new home during the week. The Thames Path runs for a grand total of 184 miles, from the Cotswolds in the west of England through to the iconic Thames Barrier at the east end of London, and it’s a subject I’ll be returning to every now and then.

To finish this week’s wallpapers, my final choice is this close-up shot of some wooden slats that caught my eye. I can’t remember what sort of building or fence the slats were part of though – sorry!

I hope you’ve enjoyed my first set of photos in a while. If you have, please do tell me on Twitter, or fave the photos on Flickr, so that I know how well I’m doing 🙂 There’ll be more wallpapers next week!
