Over on the Qi Gong Videos blog, you can currently find some Tai Chi footage from Double Dragon Alliance 2007 Shanghai Camp, Masters Exhibition:
- 24 step Tai Chi with Master Wang Ming Bo and his students
- Tai Chi and nei gong with Master Zhu Jian Li
- Two persons push hands drill with Master Shen Xing You and Master Shen Xing Zuo
- Chen style Tai Chi with Master Gu Yong Fa
- Wu style Tai Chi with Master Zhang Xi Xing
- Yang style Tai Chi with David Thorpe, Colin Jefferson and Jon Kilgarriff
Well worth a look, to get an idea of how different Tai Chi styles look, especially for my students, as our style has quite a few differences that you should be able to spot :)

Hi there Stu…..
Just looked at the Shanghai Camp 2007 videos. Fascinating! There are so many interesting and different tai-chi techniques. I thought the video of the push hands drill looked really skilled (a bit like you and Rob when you did it one night at one of our classes - he he!)……it would be interesting to learn some of those techniques in pairs for our advanced group lessons?? I, certainly, would like to examine it in more depth.
Also, the last vid - the Yang Style with David Thorpe - yes! you could see alot of similarities with our style, but it was still quite different too. Great stuff!
Verity…….

Hi Stuart,
Interesting tai-chi videos! I found the stepping fascinating, with some so different to our form. It was interesting to see the stepping of heel to toe, as we do the opposite toe to heel.
The guy in yellow’s movements reminded me of a cobra in defence, the way he moved his upper body.
It was good to see the different techniques of tai-chi, all which are individually skilled. I also enjoy both the combined martial and health side of tai, chi.
Regards
Laura :)
